VoteIt does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login is required.
• No personal information such as names, emails, or phone numbers is collected.
• No device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data are accessed or stored.

2. Local Peer-to-Peer Communication

VoteIt uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework to facilitate direct, peer-to-peer connections between nearby devices. Communication is:

• Local-only, requiring no internet connection.
• Encrypted by system-level protocols.
• Transient—data is discarded once the session ends.

No poll or device data is transmitted to external servers or third-party platforms.

3. Poll and Voting Information

All poll-related content (e.g., questions, options, and votes) is generated by users and transmitted directly between devices participating in a local session. This data:

• Is stored only in device memory during an active session.
• Is not saved to disk or cloud storage.
• Becomes inaccessible once the session ends or the app is closed.

4. No Analytics or Advertising

VoteIt does not include any third-party analytics, advertising frameworks, or tracking SDKs. We do not monitor usage behavior or generate any usage profiles.

5. Children's Privacy

VoteIt does not collect any information from users of any age. As such, we are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international privacy laws.

6. Data Security

Although VoteIt does not collect or store user data, we rely on secure, system-level encryption for all peer-to-peer communications. Users are responsible for managing access to their own devices.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
